For many years, Andrew King Optician is proud to have supported the work of the optical charity Vision Aid Overseas.

This charity provides eye care services to people in developing countries who are unnecessarily visually impaired because of poor eyesight.
Last year, Vision Aid Overseas helped over 45,700 patients to see better by providing eye examinations and spectacles.
Andrew King Optician takes part in Vision Aid Overseas’ spectacle recycling programme.
If you have any unwanted spectacles at home, simply hand them into the practice and who will ensure that they are sent to Vision Aid Overseas’ collecting depot in England. Alternatively, you can make a donation directly towards the work of Vision Aid Overseas.
By taking part in this scheme, we can all help the 10% of the world’s population who are visually impaired simply because they do not have spectacles.
